I am searching for information on Michael Dunn, an Irishman living in Scotland. On the 1841 Scotland census, he was living on High Street in Kirkintilloch. He married Catherine Maguire (McWare on the census) sometime around then. Their three oldest children were born in Campsie, Stirling, the youngest was born in Bathgate, West Lothian. He died 7 May 1851in Maybole; I found his death record on Scotland's People. Catherine (Dun on the census) remarried John Roddy between 1851 and 1853, and was living in Linlithgow on the 1851 census, and apparently stayed there until her death.

The Irish Genealogical Society told me that it would be nearly impossible to find out anything about him without knowing his origins. I am hoping that someone researching Catherine may have something.
